PRENATAL YOGA 

Start your expo journey with Ali Cohen for a 20 minute Prenatal Yoga class focused on integrating breath work and movement. Suitable for all trimesters and levels of experience, this session will incorporate a grounding practice to connect with your breath and baby, and flow through safe and supportive postures to help you feel centered, nurtured and relaxed. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat if available. A limited supply of mats and towels will be provided for those who need them

We will explore how mental health medications affect your own life in pregnancy and lactation, as well as impacting your family. We will look at common myths, evidence-based guidance, and alternative options to medication. With a focus on maternal well-being, this class emphasizes the importance of caring for yourself - beyond just the physical - while continuing to nourish your child and support your family.

This class will walk you through the latest safe sleep guidelines, including how to reduce the risk of SIDS and other sleep-related incidents. You’ll learn about safe sleep surfaces, appropriate positioning, room-sharing vs. bed-sharing, and how to navigate common sleep products and myths.

Whether you're setting up your nursery or adjusting to life at home with your newborn, this class will help you feel confident in creating a sleep space that promotes both safety and peace of mind.

Developmental Milestones: Understanding Early Movement & When to Act

 MS OTR/L, CBS, CPRCS

This presentation will cover what your baby's movement should look like from birth through one year- including month by month checklists covering head control, rolling, sitting, crawling, and walking. We will discuss why "wait and see" is simply bad advice- especially for head shape concerns. If you are concerned about tongue ties, open mouth breathing, breast and bottle feeding, reaching milestones, or baby's head shape- we will tell you how to advocate for your baby and which specialists to seek out to help you help them.
